Safari University
SAFARI maintains a full-time IPC Certified Trainer and a dedicated training facility. Every Safari employee who works in manufacturing is knowledgeable in all fundaments aspects of our manufacturing process, and is required to pass a test for each category. We adhere to IPC standards to provide our customers with consistent manufacturing of electronic assemblies. All of Safari’s manufacturing employees receive IPC based training and must pass a test before moving to the next unit. Basic training includes ESD, component identification, through-hole (THT) soldering/de-soldering/rework, surface mount soldering (SMT), soldering/de-soldering/rework, manufacturing order packets and moisture sensitive devices.

Lean Manufacturing
Our LeanSigma translates to efficiency on the floor, quality in the workmanship and accuracy in order fulfillment. Safari associates are empowered to build on time, with quality, and they listen to the Voice of the Customer. LeanSigma is a seamless integration of Lean and Six Sigma . . .. a powerful process for reducing costs, lead time and quality variance . . . . one that helps Safari achieve excellent custom services levels, increased throughput and lower lead times. That translates into a more responsive, cost effective resource for high quality PCBAs.

RoHS Compliant (Restriction of Hazardous Substances)
Safari has the capabilities to manufacture using non-leaded surface finishes that are RoHS compliant. The Restriction of the Use of Certain Hazardous Substances (RoHS) in Electrical and Electronic Equipment Regulations is a directive that bans new electrical products in the EU market containing more than agreed levels of lead, cadmium, mercury, hexavalent chromium, polybrominated biphenyl (PBB) and polybrominated diphenyl ether (PBDE) flame retardants.

IPC - Association Connecting Electronics Industries
IPC serves as a guiding force in the electronic interconnection. IPC works to maintain communications, process innovation, guidelines and standards between all organizations — designers, board manufacturers, EMS firms, and OEMs. The global trade association has more than 2,300 member companies that employ more than 350,000 people.

ISO 9001:2000
ISO 9001:2000 is the recognized standard for quality management system across the globe. Registration is based on the implementation of specific quality procedures and processes, and is maintained by a well-defined commitment to quality improvement. The principles if ISO 9001:2000 customer focus, leadership within the industry, and the engagement of employees and management in developing and continuously updating a process approach to rectifying issues. A third party, impartial expert conducts an on-site audit to determine whether or not a company is in conformance to the standard.
